A birth chart or natal chart is an individualised reflection of one’s nature. It is highly insightful yet dependent on the interpreter’s subjective analysis or interpretation. The interpreter is the astrologer. There are many factors to take into consideration when analysing a chart. It is not one sign but a combination of the planets, houses, fictitious points and aspects. Let’s remember that if your Sun sign is in Leo in the 5th house and your friend’s Leo Sun is in the 10th house there’s a discrepancy in expressive will in certain areas of life although the manner is similar. We share affinities with other's but the length and strength can be different in each case. Annual charts or solar charts provide a backdrop of current developments for the person concerned. As the planets travel and move into new houses and enter into new aspects with the birth chart placed planets, within the whole factor of the solar chart it becomes evident that certain sections of life may be playing a greater role. Relationships can be ideally enhanced by having birth charts drawn up. Astrology is a useful tool to assist in relationships of all kinds, whether it is family, work or love as relationships all rest on the process of understanding each other. An Aquarius and Scorpio are unlikely to make a good marriage but if one has a Moon in the others Sun sign then there may be better affinity. There are many factors to take into account when matching up people or to explain our dislikes toward others. To draw up a birth chart the date, time and place of birth is required. A solar chart requires a birth chart and then where you were on your last birthday that is where you were geographically.
